Easter Eggs and Sick Babies

I have fantasies of being able to sleep like this! Sam is cutting his eye teeth for the 3rd time and is miserable! He looks at me with those big, brown eyes and my heart just melts. He finally took some unaided steps the day before yesterday at Deb's house. 3 in a row! He will be 18 months old on the 1st. I can't believe he will be going into the nursery at church in a couple of weeks. He is finally warming to Makenna. He goes to her and kisses on her feet. I will remind him of that when she has stinky teenager feet!

My mom brought ATC home from school for me today. When I saw the blouse she was wearing, I had to get a picture of her and Makenna together since they both looked like Easter Eggs! I just noticed that Andrew fits the scheme too! I will have to zoom this picture in because I love how they are looking at each other.

Mom is thinking, "I wonder if Suzanne knows this baby's eyes are glowing red..."and Makenna is thinking, "Should I spit up on her or let it loose in my diaper?" Nahhh! They are both too cute!

"Do I really look like an Easter Egg? What is an Easter Egg?"

This has been a good week. Harrowing at times emotionally. It is really annoying when you run into people that had a baby a couple of weeks ago and they are running around like it was a little bump in the road. Even ones that had c-sections. Makenna is doing great but will only sleep after nursing. She takes the bottle fine, but doesn't want to sleep after. I would gladly accept any friendly advice on this subject!
I signed up on Facebook a couple of weeks ago and have had old firends coming out of the woodwork! It has been great. Kind of a time machine.
I watched a movie yesterday called "Tomorrow is Forever" with Claudette Colbert and Orson Wells. I wasn't expecting much because it's an old movie, but I love Claudette. What a profound message! She had a classic choice of choosing the past or the future...wow. I gotta buy that movie.
