Take Just A Minute

Can I make my point any clearer than to direct you to this woman's blog?
Depression is so subtle. It's scary. It's lonely. It's common. It's real.
Sorry I sound like a PSA, BUT! This is important. Take a minute and share, identify with, sympathize.

It's so very true. I've been struggling with depression my whole life. It's insidious.

Thank you for sharing. Almost every woman I know (myself included) has struggled with depression at one point or another in her life. It's so important to relate to one another and help one another. I'm off to check out this site. Thanks for the tip. =)

Carmarena, thanks for the linkage and the support! You are so right. I hope that people will come and share their insights and stories. The more we tell each other the more we can help one another. Every story, every voice counts.

Thank you very much for sharing this post! I struggled with depression for 16 years and am just now seeing the light. :) It is very healing to share stories with others who have been there and know what it feels like. Each story is unique as each of us are, but there were many parallels between my story and others that I've heard.

Ok, enough rambling for now.

Have a Wonderful Day!

I thought you might like to read these two posts on my blog:

For me, medication has been the answer. It took me a long time to accept and not feel like a failure in some way, but now I am a true believer that it's one of God's ways of blessing us through the miracle of modern medicine.
