Reasons for Hopefulness

I haven't been shy about discussing my battle with post-partum depression, depression period! It is an ongoing battle for me, so I am trying to focus on the good and not so much on the other stuff.
A few weeks ago, I was able to take a trip to Utah for a business convention. What made this trip so unique is I went completely by myself. I decided I wanted to drive (12 hours unless you break it up) so I could unwind and maybe enjoy the sound of my own thoughts, see if I had any of my own thoughts anymore!
In no particular order...here are some reasons I found for hopefulness on my trip.

Looking South at the Mt Timpanogus Temple.
This also led me to a wonderful fruit stand
where I bought tomatoes, squash, peaches, and plums to bring home.
L to R: Vickie Fitzsimmons, Karen Ingalls, me, Julie Rains
Part of TEAM ILLUMINATE at the Scentsy Convention.

These guys weren't with me,
but I saw this picture again and yes,
they always inspire me with hope.
My niece, Candice, with her three children
(l to r) Aspyn, Talon, Esaycia

My best friend, Judy Moffatt.

Finally, various shots of one of my favorite LDS Temples in St George, UT

I spent some time here on the drive up to Utah.
I decided to stay the night in St. George just so I could
hang out over here for a bit...
at my most favorite time of day.

SO WORTH IT!

I'm glad you had a nice time. Especially by yourself! I was just excited to have 2 hours today all by myself!
