The Hard Work Was Rewarded

After of full day of hosting our yard sale, I decided to pack Mak in her carseat and head for the grocery store. It was just at dusk when I left, so by the time I finished, it was good and dark. When I got out of my car, I luxuriated in the dark, cool air. My head snapped up suddenly as my nose caught the scent of my most favorite time of the year in Arizona.
Citrus Blossoms.
It was faint, but it was there! We have the pleasure of living in front of a lemon grove. So, with today's warmth, it made "scents" they would start to smell. I love it!

While we were laboring outside all day, this is what the cat did!
Figures.
Why can't I have a pet that can do laundry and dishes?
Why?

We even put the 2 year old to work!

Makenna modeled her old Exersaucer!

Andrew had a water stand.
Sam just couldn't help knocking the bottles over, over and over!
Much to Andrew's chagrin!

Oh I am SO jealous of the scent of citrus. That's my favorite scent. I get it only in a bottle around here... and NEVER in January. You know what I mean.

Thank you so much for stopping by on my SITS day on Thursday. I've really enjoyed reading all the comments and lovely things people had to say. It's taking me a bit to get around to read the blogs of everyone who commented, but I'm getting there! I hope you enjoyed your stay and that you come back to visit again soon!

So how did the yard sale go? Was there a big outcome? It looks like you guys had a ton of stuff. Did my dad sale any of his furniture? The picture of Sam and the shovel looks like both ATC and Andrew when they were little. It was kind of cute to see it and remember.

My dog vacuums and does dishes. I would love to live near a lemon grove, oh that sounds wonderful. Looks like a big yard sale. Just visiting from SITS

Your funny. My MOL and I were pregnant at the same time, she thought she was having gall bladder problems. Her Dr. told her she needed to go to the O.B. beause her gall bladder had a heart beat. I need to blog about that.
