It's official!  ATC graduated from middle school on May 26th.
This is Adam and Rick Ogsten, the Director of the Carpe Diem.
Adam with Roger Sciaretta, his principal.
Yes, Adam was very emotional that day.

My favorite picture of the day.
Warm fuzzy.

Adam turns 13 on July 24th.  He begins high school a mere two weeks later!  Absolutely blows my mind.  He is often asked if he skipped a grade.  At first he told everyone yes until I corrected him~ he actually completed 6th and 7th grade in one year. And he didn't just complete it, he completed it VERY well!

We were very blessed that we discovered Carpe Diem Collegiate High School and Middle School.  It's now getting some regional and national recognition that is quite exciting.  Adam came home after starting 6th grade at his elementary school a few days earlier lamenting that he was bored.  He was literally in tears because he didn't know what to do.  Miraculously, a friend of mine who also happens to be the school nurse at the elementary school talked to me about her moving her son over to CDA.  She told me there was only one spot left after moving her son. With the encouragement of Adam's homeroom teacher, I moved him.

And he has never looked back!

So, in August, he begins not only his high school experience, but begins taking Seminary as well. Seminary will begin at 6 in the morning near his school.  I am so excited for him to experience all that it has to offer!

We are really proud of him and pray he continues to do well for himself and that above all else, that he is truly happy. He is an amazing young man!

Did I happen to mention he has a mustache?? Like enough of one that he may get to shave before school starts?? CRAZY!!

Congratulations! There is nothing better than seeing your child do well at school. My son has just recently passed his exams at college and is off to university. We are truly proud parents! Please come take a look at my blogs if you get the chance. It would be greatly appreciated.
